Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator
By accessing or using MapMyApps (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. The Service is operated by GOVOTECHNOLOGIES LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your credentials. Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy practices.
3. Public stacks and contributions
MVP stacks, ratings, comments, and other community contributions are public. Individual price reports have a separate visibility control. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display it as needed to operate and improve the Service. Do not submit confidential information or content you lack the right to share.
4. Catalog information and recommendations
Catalog descriptions, categories, relationships, integrations, prices, ratings, and recommendations are informational. They may be incomplete, outdated, inferred, or incorrect. Verify important product, security, compatibility, contract, and pricing decisions directly with the vendor. The Service does not provide legal, financial, procurement, security, or professional advice and does not guarantee savings, compatibility, availability, or business results.
5. Prices, affiliate links, and offers
Official pricing and member-reported pricing are separate datasets. Actual charges may vary. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, in which case we may receive compensation and will provide a disclosure. Affiliate status does not affect rankings or recommendation scores. Member offers are available only when expressly published with applicable terms; references to future offers do not promise that any deal will become available.
5A. Paid Stack Audits
A Stack Audit is a manually prepared informational review of one eligible stack. The checkout page states the current price, scope, and expected delivery period before purchase. Payment is processed by PayPal under its applicable terms. Recommendations depend on the information available when the review is prepared and do not guarantee savings, compatibility, or business results. Contact us promptly about payment, cancellation, or delivery questions; any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, scrape it in a way that creates unreasonable load, submit malware, impersonate another person, manipulate ratings, publish unlawful or deceptive material, infringe intellectual property, harass others, or use automated means to create accounts or spam community features.
7. Third-party services and trademarks
The Service links to and describes third-party products. We do not control those products and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or practices. Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship unless explicitly stated.
8. Moderation, suspension, and retained history
We may remove or restrict content and suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the Service or its users. Domain records are generally soft-deleted from current views while historical usage intervals and immutable audit events may be retained for integrity, security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and aggregate analysis as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Service availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOVOTECHNOLOGIES LLC and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, purchasing decisions, or business interruption arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us during the preceding twelve months or US $100. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
